Home Climbing Walls

Have you ever considered having your own climbing wall at home?  Maybe you have some  indoor or outdoor space that you would like to utilise for a climbing wall or a training board?  Take a look at some of our latest projects for inspiration or for more information

MAY 2020 – GARDEN CLIMBING WALL

Climbing Collective recently completed an exciting bespoke garden climbing wall project in London.  We started designing this project in early January after some initial discussions with the client to understand specifications.  Subsequently, we produced a 3D visual using Google Sketch-up.  The climbing wall itself was fabricated, painted and textured off-site at Climbing Collective’s workshop and assembled on-site after the outer frame was constructed. Construction on site took 4 days, including the route-setting.  We returned a few weeks later for a follow-up, where we installed a pulley system to help with the front cover and some  additional route-setting tweaks based on the clients feedback.

APRIL 2018 – HOME INDOOR CLIMBING WALL

For the eager enthusiast, home training can be an important tool to help push those grades. This client took the opportunity to transform some spare indoor space in to a training area.  Utilising this smaller space Climbing Collective created a 40 degree home training board.

JANUARY 2018 – GARAGE CLIMBING WALL

One of the most common options for a home climbing wall is to devote part of your garage to your passion, which is exactly what this client did.  We built this climbing wall on a snowy January in the far North of Scotland, as a home training facility for some keen climbing kids.
